Our generation came of age at the Unraveling stage, when independence is paramount, but so are cynicism and mistrust in institutions.
For what it's worth, we're now halfway through the Crisis stage, after which we will enter a new High period. But if you believe in the mega-cycle, we have a lot of pain ahead before we get to the other side.
"The economy is strong right now, so I suspect that even the unemployed folks over age 50 will end up getting another good job soon." I am in this boat and feel like I will never get hired again. I do have other issues, true.
